Hello again, fellow deviants!
I know I probably say it in every newspost... But there are some exciting projects on the horizon!
Let's start off by talking about Freedom Planet, that amazing-high-platformer-sonic-inspired game! To cut to the chase, the game's first demo for PC users (+ Macs, if you have a windows emulator) has been released TODAY! The full game will feature voice work from myself, Omahdon, sonicmega, and more! You can check out the website and download the demo here: freedomplanet.galaxytrail.com/ , and be sure to visit the facebook page and let us all know what you think of it!

Now, it's time to talk about the PONIES (I'll try and be brief)! I was over the moon yesterday when I found out that Australia is having it's FIRST MLP CONVENTION! Thankfully, I live just 45minutes away from the convention's location (Sydney), and it looks like it's going to be an awesome day (Yes, only one day, shamefully!)! To all those fellow Aussies who haven't heard about it yet, check out PonyCon AU's FB page and be sure to be there April next year!
A slight lead-in, a couple of weeks ago I collaborated with the amazing MegaTouhou (Piano, Mixer, & Lyrics) and Gap9877 (Guitar) on YouTube, and was given the awesome (and very daunting!) experience of singing his original fan mlp song, 'Trixie's Ballad.' I've always loved singing, but never, ever thought there would be a singing clip of me up on youtube. We were all really honoured to have been featured on Equestria Daily! We've got a couple more songs up our sleeves, and are all very excited to produce some more work! Check out 'Trixie's Ballad' here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DPtI-…

One more thing! Phagard: New Age of Warfare shamefully didn't meet it's goal on kickstarter, so as of today the aspiring medieval cartoon series and graphic novel is on indiegogo hoping to raise the funds. I voice Princess Azalea and Naomi, and am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it makes it's goal! Check it out here (www.indiegogo.com/phagard?a=98…), and if it captures your interest, I know me and the team would appreciate it if you donated, or even shared the page!

*Sigh* I'm such a rambler!
I've been back at university for the past two weeks, and have found it difficult trying to balance my voice acting projects, work, and assessments. But I know with a little time, I should be able to get back into my rhythm!
If anyone needs a voice for their project, please email me at Aimee.SmithVA@gmail.com with a short character bio, voice type, some sample lines, and a deadline, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible! Thanks guys! Xx

There are some projects that I'm voicing for that would LOVE some additional support!

Freedom Planet (www.facebook.com/freedomplanet…) is a sonic-inspired 2D game featuring an Original Sound Track and a Voice Cast of 10 (Including Sonicmega, Omahdon, and more!). The page has received 150 likes in a week, and if it reaches 1000 by July 26th, it will feature a second playable character! The demo is set to release on August 6th and will be available to PC users. I voice Milla the Hound [The cute, reserved, 8 year old who loves shiny things!] who appears at times throughout story mode. The game has been well received so far by the indie game community, but that little bit more support would be AH-MAZING!
Some of the voice work in Freedom Planet: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MKGW_…

FantasiQuest (www.facebook.com/pages/Invocat…) is side-scrolling fighting game for the PC, and Invocation of Awesome is looking at HOPEFULLY launching a Kickstarter in September *Fingers crossed.* I can't say too much about it shamefully, but I'm really excited! I voice Samantha Seren, and I get to embrace my Australian accent in this role (Which was unplanned!). Check it out, and keep a-top of the updates!

I won't ramble on for too much longer, but those are the two main projects I wanted to discuss due to some exciting developments taking shape! Would be amazing if anyone wanted to support the process! Anywho, hope I haven't bored anyone!
Til next time!

Hello there, to whoever reads this!
My page was looking rather bland [I'm not sure I can use the "Oh I'm still so new" line any more.. It's been two weeks] and so I decided to make my first journal on my D.A page by way of livening it up, as well as advertising some things I've been up to of recent, and where I stand on voice acting. After my university exams early next week, I intend to dedicate even more of my time to voice acting. For the past couple of weeks, I'd been preparing by making this account and searching for projects wanting a voice actress [Checking the 'Projects' and 'Job Offers' categories of the forums, as well as typing 'Voice' into journals... So far, so good!], Referring to the original works section of the VAA and VAC as I have always done, and searching through the Artist's News and [Once again] typing 'Voice' into the forums of NewGrounds. I've learnt some more things along the way when looking for Games, Short Animations, or VNs requiring voice actresses, but I think I'll save that for another day, as I think I've already come off as quite the freakishly observant little job searcher!

I can't say my reason for crazily scouring the forums/journals is with the intention that it'll lead to bigger, better and brighter things. I do it because I love it, for some reason that's always been enough. If I'm an amateur VA forever I wouldn't be too fazed. But with this I ask, that any directors/producers looking for a voice for their next project to please consider me, check out my demo reel in the 'About Me' section, and I'd have no problems with sending you an audition for whatever project you're currently working on.

Today I'd discovered that my VAing appearance as Fluttershy in jjkmovies video 'Harry Potter Re-enacted by Ponies,' which also features Rina-Chan and Bree Faith had gotten released. It was such an honour to voice alongside these two renowned MLP Fan Voice Actresses. I'm still spinning out! Support Bree, Rina, and Jacob by please watching and liking the link and following their YouTube pages as shown beneath the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMKrbP… .

If you are by any chance interested in some Original Works I'm voicing in, it would be AMAZING if you could check out Seraphite: Ordinance of the Furies [Video Game], where I voice the Lady of Pagoda, October the Pixie, and Kendra. It's still in the early stages of development, but there is a massive talented voice cast, and the character art work looks amazing! This game's page is www.facebook.com/Ordinanceofth… .

I apologise for the length, so thank you to anyone who read through it all, watched the MLP video, or liked the Seraphite page.
Till next time!
